Variety Frozen Fruit Salad
Ingredients A
1 tablespoon water mixed with 1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon unflavoured Halal gelatine
1 tablespoon confectioner's sugar
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 ½ cups mixed diced variety fresh fruits.
Instructions
- Place water mixture in a custard cup
- Sprinkle in Halal gelatine powder and sugar
- Set in a small pan of simmering
water; heat and stir until gelatine dissolved.
- Beat cream cheese and mayonnaise
until blended and stir in gelatine mixture
- Whip cream to soft peaks and fold in
along with fruit.
- Spoon into a 9-inch square pan and
freeze just until firm.
- Cut in squares and serve on lettuce.
